LO3 (U21) - Be able to pitch ideas on a proposed media product and respond to questions The client feedback All of the feedback given by the client was useful for me in the production of my magazine. This is because his points were very valid in order for me to make it more successful. Upon reflection, there were no points that will not help with my development, instead I will be taking everything on board to develop. The client asked me if there were a growing number of rock venues in North London. My geographical and market research suggested that there was in fact a growing number of rock genre venues. Some of these venues include 'Dingwall's', 'Camden Assembly' and 'The Fiddlers Elbow'. LO3 (U21) - Be able to pitch ideas on a proposed media product and respond to questions Feedback given by client The client seemed incredibly positive about my pitch and therefore provided limited feedback. I have listed the feedback that I received and have shown my understanding. Client questions 1) Why did you choose to only target only men? 2) Are there actually a growing number of rock venues? My responses 1) It is a predominantly male genre therefore targeting males would be a sensible option. However, I understand that there could be ethical issues therefore...

LO2 (U21) - Be able to create a proposal and pitch for an original media product based on a given brief This is a practice pitch for my North London based magazine on the genre rock. This was done as practice to gain feedback from my teacher and peers in order to improve it for the real pitch. This ensures I will be able to deliver a high quality final pitch, including all relevant and necessary information to enable it to be successful. Practice pitch Original presentation Media pitch powerpoint from TheoRubins I used this pitch in order to make amendments on specific parts that were not good enough or did not include the relevant information. From this feedback below, I was able to take it on board and make those improvements. Feedback Use the word 'masthead' instead of 'title' when talking about what fonts to use for the front cover of the magazine. Make sure to narrow down the target audience because it is way too large. Do not...
